I went to Milton Keynes on Monday for a spot of Xmas shopping with my Mum, Daughter & Grandson Tyler.
We had a great time. It wasn't as busy as I thought it would be. Whilst there I managed to buy myself a book (as you do). I managed to finish it by Wednesday evening.
As I am a lover of 'cheesy' romance stories, this one fitted the bill perfectly. Especially as it is themed around Christmas. I would def recommend. I haven't come across Milly Johnson before and will be working my way through all of her books in the New Year.
Tuesday was lovely day as my daughter and I were booked onto a 2 hour course at Biscuiteers

They are based in London which meant an early start for us both as well as an extortionate train fare!!! and we had to stand! We arrived in good time, having grabbed a cuppa & a slice of toast at a local bistro (could have brought 3 loaves in Tesco's for the price of one slice! was very nice tho')
We both thoroughly enjoyed the morning, although there was no heating so it was freezing!
We were shown how to decorate cookies and had an assortment of different Xmas shaped biccies. Here is a pic of what we came away with. (there are a huge amount of them missing. I must be sleep eating!) They are soooo delicious!
Included was tea/coffee. The Biscuiteers book, an apron, a lovely tin to transport/store our biccies in (10 of them). Although from looking at mine they look like they have had an accident lol. A certificate.
It was a little strange in that we went straight into decorating our biccies by copying a picture and were then shown afterwards how we should do it, and how to make the different icings, but, it was still enjoyable.
We then hopped on the underground and had a walk along Oxford Street/Regent Street. Had a late lunch and then went home.
A great day!
Well, I am off to town this morning with my mum, daughter & grandson to finish off my present buying. Then off to my mum's where my son will be with my other grandson.
Good times x

Some gorgeous goodies given & received - your biscuiteers course sounds great xx
